Throughout its 45 years, the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (FEEC) has become one of the Faculties of UNICAMP with the highest teaching and research quality in Brazil.
The FEEC is committed to academic excellence in teaching, research and extension services. It is responsible for the undergratuate course in Electrical Engineering during daytime and night periods and the course of Computer Engineering, which is taught in conjunction with the Institute of Computer Science.
During the last decade, the Graduate program in Electrical Engineering of FEEC obtained the maximum degree of the triennial assessments by CAPES. The program is now over than 40 years old, and is the largest graduate program in EE in the country, delivering over 2000 M.Sc. and 1000 Ph.D. degrees to this date, an activity that accounts for nearly 30% of doctorates degrees in Electrical Engineering granted in Brazil.
Research is carried out in five departments that aggregate about 90 faculties, 40 researchers, 20 post-doctoral researchers and 600 graduate students.
The activities of extension services comprise several specialization courses and numerous projects and partnerships with the most important companies in the public and private sectors, delivering outstanding performance in terms of research, development and technological innovation.
